Engraver was founded in Ossi (Sassari) by guitarist Marco Scanu and vocalist Giuseppe Fancellu in 2019. The line-up was then completed by Santino Derudas on Bass, Nicola Piras on Drums and Riccardo Chessa as the second guitar player.
